School Profile

History

In 1962, the current Christiana School was built on Highway 231. The school was called the 231 School and was an elementary school. In 1967, the school was re-named Christiana Elementary School. In 1988, eight classrooms and a library were added and the gym was renovated. In 1990, 10 classrooms were added.  In 2003-2004 our school grade structure changed from K-8 to K-5.  At that time students in grades 6,7,8 began attending our neighboring Christiana Middle School. The latest renovation of Christiana Elementary School was completed in December of 2008. This addition added 14 classrooms to our structure, expanded the cafeteria space, added a stage and renovated our library space.
